Who are my clients?
They have one thing in common - they have chosen to change some aspect of their personal or work lives.
I work with private individuals who sponsor themselves and individuals and teams who have been sponsored by employers.
Individuals respect themselves enough and have sufficient desire to enjoy life and believe they are worth self-investment.
Business sponsors value their people, see them as individuals and are willing to invest in their development and well being.
Stop smoking, get fit, reduce stress, improve performance, build relationships and enhance teamwork, grow self confidence, manage change and transition, accelerate personal development and bring about desired changes that achieve long lasting results.
They have all realised that something needs to change and they recognise that a focused coaching approach gets the results they are after.
What do my clients want?
Private Individuals
"I'm not sure what I want anymore. Work isn't so great and my personal life is pretty much non-existent. Help!"
What we did:
It's amazing how often people say that they don't really know what they want when most of the time they have a pretty good idea. This lady needed help to clarify what it would take to make her happier at work and how to get a life! She was able to set some challenging but exciting goals and gained confidence through the whole process.
She changed her job and being happier at work made her smile more and guess what - others were attracted to her. Enough said!
"I want to stop smoking - honest, I really do"
What we did:
The client completed a smoking log for a period of one week and then attended the first of two sessions. In the first session (2 hours) we explored his smoking personality and style and straightened out his twisted thinking. He was also coached to find his own compelling vision and goal and given some powerful strategies, including meridian therapy, to help with emotions and situations where he might be tempted. He was then hypnotised and sent on his way. His second session one week later checked on his progress. He had stopped smoking and was able to deal with challenging situations without cigarettes. He also had a final session of hypnosis to underpin his success. Six months later he is still a non-smoker!
"I have decided to give up smoking. I can't afford one to one coaching - what can you do?"
What we did:
She attended one of our 'Mind-Freedom' group sessions. £90 for 2 hours. Job done!
"I have no self-confidence. I find it difficult to talk to people and I think I may be on my own forever. It also holds me back at work"
What we did:
Four sessions later this young woman was able to strike up conversations and has made new friends including a new boyfriend. She has also made a presentation to her colleagues in a training session. This was achieved through a combination of coaching, CBT and hypnotherapy.
Business Clients
"We have a lady who has just returned to work after a period of sick leave due to work related stress. She seems to have lost her confidence, her energy and motivation. In fact I think she may have lost her way altogether. What can you do to help?"
What we did:
It took three one to one sessions to resolve this. Coaching revealed that a change in management had led this lady to take on too much in order to try to meet the demands of the new manager. There was also a clash of personalities and misunderstanding of each others styles and intentions. Using personality profiling she learned more about herself, her motivations and how others perceive her and also more about other personality types.
The natural progesssion was to develop useable interpersonal skills and strategies to ensure healthy working relationships. Additionally she needed some support with assertiveness, time management, stress management and self-confidence.
"We have tried everything else but this guy just does not seem able to communicate well with his customers and colleagues. His role in the IT department is crucial and we don't want to lose his expertise. He is obviously not happy and neither is anyone else!"
What we did:
This took six session. Using personality profiling which always helps people to look at behaviours - their own and others - in an objective and non-threatening way. We discovered, amongst other things, that he was a natural introvert. His own team and many of his customers ranged from midly introverted to extremely extroverted. His background, education and life choices mage him very different to everyone else.
He loved his job, was an expert in his field and wanted to do well. He knew he was struggling with communication issues and this in turn knocked his self-confidence which simply made it worse. A downward spiral with seemingly no way out.
He learned that perception is key to communication. Once he knew what made him tick he could then appreciate that about other personality types and learn how to meet their needs when communicating. His confidence grew, he practised and developed even more skills and strategies that had an impact on his working life and happily, on his private life too.
